Meet Andrew Hinckley

Andrew has more than 30 years of experience in investment, sales, management, and real estate. After a long career in renewable energy, he relocated to the Lowcountry—a region he had visited for years and where he built lasting relationships.

For more than two decades, his work spanned the full lifecycle of renewable energy development, including permitting, project finance, real estate, due diligence, contract negotiation, and transaction execution. He co-founded a first-of-its-kind renewable real estate financial services firm that was sold to a publicly traded REIT in 2014. Since 2005, he has been involved in the financing of more than 250 utility-scale wind and solar projects.

Andrew grew up in Cincinnati, attended the University of Colorado Boulder, and lived in Colorado for 16 years. Most recently, he lived in Connecticut and worked in renewable energy finance in Manhattan.

He enjoys everything the Lowcountry has to offer, especially golf, Charleston’s culinary scene, history, museums, travel, and time on the water.
